Tenancy Sustainability Service

We have developed a specialised service directed towards the protection of tenants' sustainability and environmental interests, allowing our clients to be better informed on a tenancy's true value and future performance.

We independently protect our client's interests by verifying the impacts of planned or existing building services, fitouts, and architectural designs.

Our Tenancy Sustainability Service provides tenants with independent sustainability information. We combine diverse factors in order to provide ourclients with the specialised information they need to protect their interests. Factors such as: indoor environmental indicators, the quality and maintenance of the building's services, energy and water efficiency, as well as investigation of potential and current environmental benchmarks (such as NABERS).

This service provides a basis for prioritisation of sustainability initiatives and actions. We provide independent evidence of corporate responsibility towards staff, the environment, and community, whilst at the same time potentially achieving significant cost reductions in electricity bills.

  • Indoor Environmental Quality assessments
    • Testing of air quality (especially carbon dioxide)
    • Testing for air pollution (especially volatile organic compounds)
  • Projected energy and water consumption of pre-lease fitout
  • Review building services against sustainability indicators and objectives
  • Lighting and thermal performance modelling of designs
  • Pre-rating analysis for potential NABERS outcomes
  • Green Star assessments and sensitivity analysis
  • Energy/water efficiency upgrade opportunities and cost benefit analysis
  • Inspection and reporting on building performance:
    • Condition of existing air conditioning plant (building and tenancy),and expected life and performance
